ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a Tax Lead to join our global Tax and Treasury team. In this pivotal role, you’ll help Notion navigate a complex global tax environment, create tangible value, strengthen our tax operations, and work collaboratively to develop tax-efficient strategies that enable business expansion and innovation. Your work will be pivotal to building a world-class tax function and making a lasting impact on Notion’s success and growth. This role is based San Francisco. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days. WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE: - Serve as a technical subject matter expert, proactively identifying risks and advising leadership on tax implications of special projects. - Direct all U.S. federal, state, local, GAAP, and SEC tax reporting requirements; prepare and review quarterly and year-end tax provisions, journal entries, and reconciliations. - Drive operational efficiency by building out a
