Employment AI notice
AI can organize evidence. It cannot make the employment decision.
Every controlled AI invocation uses an allowlisted purpose, no provider tools, bounded input records, structured output, provenance, failure/fallback state, and a named human action.
Version employment-ai-notice-v2
Allowed operations
- RESUME PARSE: candidate-controlled structured resume extraction. Human boundary: candidate confirm before publish.
- PRACTICE COACH: candidate-controlled practice assistance outside employer selection. Human boundary: candidate decides next step.
- CODE EVIDENCE SUMMARY: advisory work-sample evidence and missing-evidence summary for human review. Human boundary: evaluator review before use.
- QUESTION DRAFT: draft interview or practice content for human publication. Human boundary: author review before publish.
Disabled consequential uses
rank candidates, score candidate, score candidates, auto reject, auto rejection, hire recommendation, no hire recommendation, employability score, personality inference, protected trait inference, proxy trait inference.
Provenance
- Provider, target, model, adapter version, operation, purpose, prompt template identity/version, system/prompt/context digests, input record references, output or digest, latency, token usage, cost basis, failure/fallback, and required human action are recorded.
- Prompt content treats candidate, resume, code, job, message, document, and retrieved text as untrusted data. No provider tools, network access, secret disclosure, or cross-record retrieval are authorized.
- A candidate or employer can reject or dismiss an output. Accepting, editing, or publishing records a human action linked to the invocation.
Enabled provider
Microsoft Azure OpenAI: bounded prompt context and structured output; no provider tools; provider response storage disabled
Employer obligation
Employers must assess the actual role, tool use, jurisdiction, notice, validation, review, and audit duties that apply to their process. A Babu allowlist does not replace that assessment.
