The role

Lightmatter is leading the revolution in AI data center infrastructure, enabling the next giant leaps in human progress. The company invented the world’s first 3D-stacked photonics engine, Passage™, capable of connecting thousands to millions of processors at the speed of light in extreme-scale data centers for the most advanced AI and HPC workloads.

Lightmatter raised $400 million in its Series D round, reaching a valuation of $4.4 billion. We will continue to accelerate the development of data center photonics and grow every department at Lightmatter!

If you're passionate about tackling complex challenges, making an impact, and being an expert in your craft, join our team of brilliant scientists, engineers, and accomplished industry leaders.

Lightmatter is (re)inventing the future of computing with light!

In this role as a part of the product engineering team you will be focused on High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) testing, developing novel wafer and package level ATE testing strategies of Lightmatter’s Silicon Photonics products. You will be expected to support customer deployment and related technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, implement, and support ATE test solutions for Lightmatter's Silicon Photonics products

• Pre-silicon responsibilities include understanding product features, developing characterization and manufacturing test plans, highlighting test coverage holes.

• Actively participate with multi-functional teams including Product Development Engineering, DFT and design to efficiently debug product failures, implement optimal solutions, and drive correlation between simulation, bench, and tester environments

• Collaborate with OSAT/test vendors to develop ATE test SW and hardware infrastructure.

• Work with manufacturing teams/partners to increase yields, test coverage, capacity, and reduce production costs.</li
