If you’re looking to make an impact with heart and hustle, SpotOn is the place for you. ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance team in San Francisco. You’ll own the monthly close for inventory, hardware COGS, and fixed assets, and play a key supporting role in T&E management and subsidiary revenue accounting. This is a great fit for someone early in their career who wants to build deep cost accounting expertise at a fast-moving technology company serving the restaurant industry. We’ll provide full onboarding and training on the tools and systems we use. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Prepare and post monthly journal entries for inventory, hardware costs, and fixed assets, ensuring accuracy and proper support documentation - Own balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts, including hardware inventory, fixed assets, and related accruals - Perform monthly cost accounting analysis and reporting, including COGS variance analysis, inventory valuation, and fixed asset roll-forwards - Contribute to cost accounting dashboards and reporting used by finance leadership to surface trends and variances - Manage the end-to-end T&E accounting process, including revie
