As the Senior Tax Manager, you will be a strategic tax compliance expert within Snowflake’s finance organization, owning and driving all aspects of U.S. federal and state income tax compliance. You will report to the Senior Director, U.S. Tax, and partner closely with a peer Senior Tax Manager who leads the Global & U.S. income tax provision process, providing critical inputs, analytics, and direct support for the quarterly and annual ASC 740 process. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Own the end-to-end U.S. federal and state income tax return compliance process, including preparation, review, timely filing, extensions, and estimated tax calculations and payments - Coordinate and manage external service providers to ensure high-quality and efficient compliance deliverables - Develop and apply state income tax planning strategies to optimize effective tax rate and cash taxes across all required income, business and gross receipts tax filings - Monitor legislative and regulatory developments in U.S. federal and state tax law; proactively assess and communicate compliance impact to leadership - Res
