Vast is looking for a Reliability Engineer , reporting to the Vice President, Flight Safety & Mission Assurance, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of the world’s first commercial human-rated space stations.

This will be a full-time , exempt position located in our Long Beach location.

Responsibilities:

• Perform system-level reliability analyses, such as fault tree analysis, building reliability block diagrams, and perform failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA/FMECA)

• Perform reliability predictions using a variety of methodologies, including electronics reliability predictions

• Assist engineering teams in performing trade studies

• Develop and maintain spaceflight component reliability data
