The role

SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (STARLINK) - 2ND SHIFT

At SpaceX we are deploying Starlink, the world's most advanced satellite constellation, to provide broadband internet access to the world. We design, build, and operate all parts of the system – from the hardware in customers' homes to the satellites on orbit. Our engineers are endlessly curious, love to learn and try out new things. We work collaboratively in a dynamic environment to deliver high-impact technology on a global scale.

As the production supervisor you will lead the team of hourly employees directly responsible for build, test, and troubleshooting of this hardware on the production line. The supervisor will be responsible for leading and driving continuous improvement in all aspects of operations, whether in manufacturing process development, factory layout, or design feedback. Come help us make a direct impact on expanding global connectivity!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage an hourly workforce by assessing employee performance, providing positive/constructive feedback, facilitating conflict resolution, and addressing repeat issues with corrective actions, performance improvement plans or through disciplinary means

• Lead by setting an example; take feedback from all levels of the organization, and motivate your organization to achieve the highest level of results (in safety, quality, and rate)

• Provide mentorship to team, and assist with design decisions, project strategies and technical problems

• Establish and analyze area metrics to drive:

• Personnel training and development
