About the Role

As Product Manager, Federations, you own product strategy and execution for our Federations roadmap. The Federations team owns how user, machine, and agentic identities move inbound and outbound of Okta via industry-standard protocols. This includes outbound federations, which span how Okta acts as an identity provider to downstream apps and services (OAuth/OIDC, SAML, API access management), as well as inbound federations, which span how Okta consume identity from external sources (external idPS, social auth, JIT provisioning, claims mapping, and logout).

Federations is foundational to the entire Okta product portfolio. You'll work closely with engineering, design, other product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders across Okta's platform to ensure federation capabilities evolve strategically.

This role requires being able to deep-dive technically and build protocol fluency, you'll be expected to reason credibly about OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and related specs with engineering, standards teams, and customers.
