Liquor Barn - Store Associate, Jefferson Commons

Liquor Barn, Party Mart, and DEP'S (BRS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of GoPuff. An operated retail chain of spirits, beer, wine, and party goods in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. We offer 23 retail locations across the state, including Louisville, Lexington, Danville, Bowling Green, Elizabethtown, Owensboro, and Northern Kentucky, with a delivery radius reaching 80% of Kentucky residents. A Store Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service while driving sales through BRS products. A Store Associate builds a relationship with customers while providing the ultimate shopper experience through sales, customer support, and cashier responsibilities.

Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service by greeting and establishing rapport with customers while informing them of BRS products and servicesKnowledge of BRS products to provide customers with recommendationsDrive sales in all departmentsReplenish and maintain inventoryPerform cashier functions and adhere to minor policy while completing customer transactionsOperating scanners, cash registers, and other electronicsFollow proper age verification policiesAccepting payments, such as cash, checks, and credit cardsEnsuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a customer receiptProcessing refunds and exchangesBalance register drawerBagging or boxing purchases to ensure safe transportFollowing all BRS procedures regarding coupons and gift cardsMaintain store safety standardsStore cleanliness and assist in maintaining standards on the sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathroomsAssist in promotions and setup of BRS eventsObserve BRS vehicle policies and procedure guidelinesMaintain all safety standards for BRS deliveriesDelivery items to customersFollowing delivery driving routes and time schedulesInform manager of vehicle operating condition problems Qualifications: 21 years of age or olderAbility to work a flexible schedule as business requires (nights, weekends and holidays)Desire to continually develop retail sales skills and knowledge of product and servicesOne year as a store associate or customer service representativePrior experience in a team environment requiring professional communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills necessary for establishing customer and team relationshipsAbility to demonstrate a positive and engaging attitude and demeanorHigh School Diploma or equivalentThis job requires the ability to perform the following:Frequently standing and moving in an assigned location safely and efficientlyCarrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 poundsHandling objects, products, and equipment safelyBending, kneelingThe informa
