Your Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Associate HRBP to join our team in Tokyo. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day HR operations and provide essential support across the entire employee lifecycle. You will work closely with the local management team to ensure a positive work environment while maintaining compliance with Japanese labor standards.

This role is critical in ensuring a positive employee experience and supporting our growth in the Japanese market. Beyond compliance, you will act as a cultural bridge and a dedicated local resource, ensuring our Tokyo team feels connected to our global mission while fostering a collaborative and effective team environment. Key Responsibilities

Performance Management

• Partners with HRBP to advise managers and employees on all aspects of the New Relic performance management process both informal and formal.

• Provides guidance to the business on the appropriate solutions while taking into account New Relic’s policies as well as local laws and regulations.

• Support on the content of written and verbal informal performance feedback, coaching plans, and/or behavioral/formal improvement plans
